We Love Logos

Creating the Birmingham Fashion Week logo was such a pleasure...

Being that it was to reflect one of my favorite things...

fashion...and another, my hometown, Birmingham, Alabama.

With any logo design, at the end of the day, we must say as Tim Gunn does..."Make it work."

Cristin and Chad were married in their hometown of Panama City Beach, Florida.

Cristin wanted an elegant and fabulously chic wedding day,

and all the details came together to achieve just that.

Cristin and Chad became husband and wife at

First Baptist Church Panama City on a beautiful summer afternoon in late August.

The fabulous Leslee Mitchell spent several days

in Panama City Beach to photograph the entire wedding weekend.

Cristin’s stunning custom invitations were designed by

Carrie Beth Taylor of Sugar B Designs.

Calligrapher, Allison Banks, designed the custom monogram

that was included in the invitation suite.

Beachy From the Start

I mean, this is just the sweetest Southern Save the Date there ever was...

I had so much fun getting out my paint brushes for this project. 

How beachy and fabulous this wedding was from the start!

Celtic Cross Rehearsal Dinner

When my brother got married last year, 

I was given the pleasure of designing their Rehearsal Dinner Invitation Suite! 

It's printed on beautiful soft blue deckle edge stock in offset navy blue.

My dear friend and colleague, Allison Banks did the calligraphy 

and cursive name design on the invitation.

I hand inked a celtic cross for the top of the design. 

The rest is history! 

They are one happily married couple!

Stock the Bar...Purple Like

This was such a fun invitation...

(and an awesome party)

For my bff Cristin (above, with her now hubster, Chad)...

I designed a purple Stock the Bar invitation.

We printed it in black thermography, and paired it 

with a french blue patterned envelope! 

The return address had the matching purple ink. 

So different and FUN! 

The Perfect Hat

I'm headed to the beach next weekend...

and am on the hunt for the 

PERFECT HAT! 

In the meantime, enjoy this watercolor I did for Sugar B! 

It looks great on stationery and calling cards.

We recently went to 'Day Out with Thomas' with my little boy. It was so much fun! 

Little boys love trains...he seriously thought we were in Sodor. 

We spent about a gagillion dollars on souvenirs! 

On that note, aren't these invitations adorable?? 

Totally a must have for the little train lover in your life.
